Hunting

Hunting is a very popular outdoor activity in the province. Thousands of Ontario residents and visitors each year are looking forward to the opening of the hunting season.
Ontario’s hunters make a significant contribution to wildlife management in the province. License fees help support a range of programs devoted to fish and wildlife. Many volunteer hours are donated each year to help enhance wildlife habitat.
It is a shared responsibility of everyone in Ontario to protect its resources and wildlife.

You must show the license to a Conservation Officer if asked to do so. To find the detailed information on hunting, check the Hunting Regulations Summary.
